01:49that they can't lower the price to 55 pesos per kilo.

01:53Because the demand for imported rice is high,

01:56they will lose up to 150 pesos per kilo.

02:00According to the Department of Agriculture,

02:02the government's target is to lower the price of rice to this level before July 2023.

02:08The target is 41 pesos per kilo for regular milled rice,

02:12and 45 pesos for well-milled.

02:15Meanwhile, like rice, the maximum SRP will also be implemented for pork.
