00:00It was the salute heard around the world when Elon Musk, Tesla CEO turned White House special
00:05government employee, did this at an inauguration event. The arm motion is the same one Nazis would
00:10use to salute their dictator Adolf Hitler. It's something Republicans had defended the world over,
00:15with Musk even joking about it afterwards. Still, pretty much everyone else was outraged,
00:20with Democratic lawmaker Jerry Nadler writing on X quote, I never imagined we would see the day
00:25when what appears to be a Heil Hitler salute would be made behind the presidential seal.
00:30The salute prompted activists to project this video on a Tesla plant near Berlin,
00:34showing a salute, one that is literally illegal in Germany. Now another artist is adding to the
00:39conversation, attaching the salute to a Tesla charging station. This video was captured in
00:44Spain, and here's what onlookers had to say about it. I think it looks a bit like a Nazi
00:50salute. I like my Tesla a lot. It's nice to drive. But since all these things happen,
00:59I feel a little bit ashamed to drive a Tesla, to be honest.
