Retro Football Shirt Shop Opens in Shrewsbury

00:00Yeah, I'm Sean, 12th man, essentially I stock and sell retro football shirts, anything from

00:09the 70s, 80s, 90s, a little shopping shoes free, we've been doing okay so far, loads

00:21of really really nice customers, it's a really really great job to be perfectly honest, people

00:27when they come in here they're always like up and it's so exciting to see people buzz

00:32off what I sell really. We went from me having tons of shirts and my missus saying, oh my

00:38god you really need to get rid of some, and I was like, I'll sell it, instead of getting

00:42rid of some I'll open a shop, so I've opened a shop, I had to buy a loan more, it's heartbreaking

00:49selling some shirts because you do get a bit attached to them but it's a business, so it's

00:55yeah. I think I've kind of stumbled on it at about the right time where it has become a fashion

01:00item, I was expecting it just to be middle-aged men like me into it but there's loads and loads

01:07and loads of kids who come in looking for retro sort of 90s AC Milan shirts or international

01:16shirts, it's cool they're one-offs now, a lot of the stuff in here you're not really going to find

01:22many other places, so it's a shop that's a little bit offbeat from the rest of the Irish street

01:29which makes it quite exciting really. Well we've got a nonce shirt from sort of late 70s early 80s

01:37which is iconic because of Bob Marley, got loads of Barcelona 90s shirts which are absolute classic,

01:44going up to like the more modern, when I say modern day, sort of like messy kind of

01:49and Zidane stuff, I really try to focus on like 90s Serie A and 90s Premier League,

01:57preferably with namesets, so I've got like Matt Letizia shirts, I've got Paul McGrath shirts,

02:03get Alan Shearer shirts in, Robbie Fowler shirts, do you know what I mean, stuff that

02:07people immediately takes them back to their childhood and yeah gets them excited really.

02:13Okay we're in the Parade shopping centre in Shrewsbury, it's a wicked shopping centre,
