00:00Okay. Wow. Holy s-word. This means so much to us. We want to thank the members of the
00:09academy. I had to write this down because I knew I was going to just, my brain was going to leave
00:11my body. This song is really special to us and it means a lot that it resonated with you all.
00:17We are a fractured ensemble today because our love, Amanda Taylor, is not here tonight. Amanda,
00:22we love you. And lastly, we want to, well not lastly, there's more. We also want to share this,
00:27we share this with our mothers, our grandmothers, our children, my daughters, Adora and Nola,
00:32who sang on this, and Sarah's niece Mavis, who also sang on this one, that they elevated the
00:38song. We also just want to take a second to acknowledge all of the people who have worked
00:42so hard to fight for restoration in Los Angeles after so many of us have suffered in the Eaton
00:48fires and the Palisades fires. I want to take a second to acknowledge a very important composer
00:53and arranger, the great John Clayton, who lost his house in the fires in Altadena, and he also
00:59lost the Grammy award that he won in this category in 2007. So we love all of you. We share this with
01:06all of you. Keep fighting. Keep restoring Los Angeles. Thank you to the Recording Academy
01:10for acknowledging this song. I love you. I love you. Amanda Taylor, we love you. We love you.
01:15Thank you so much.
