00:00Ladies and gentlemen, I'm doing a random check on a bus in Paranaque Integrated Terminal Exchange or PITX.

00:07There's a bus driver who got stuck because the bus' wheels are not registered.

00:22The Special Action and Intelligence Committee for Transportation here in PITX

00:28and we're here at the bus gate where the city buses are being checked.

00:33There's a bus driver who got stuck because the bus' wheels are not roadworthy.

00:39What does this mean?

00:40The wheels are broken.

00:42The fire extinguisher is gone.

00:45It's not on the bus.

00:46And there's no relevant documents like the registration.

00:50Because of this, there's a slight hassle for the passengers

00:53because they were brought down and transferred to a compliant city bus.

00:57Now, the passengers are a bit annoyed because they're going home

01:02but they don't want to get stuck.

01:04This is for their safety.

01:05Their bus is roadworthy.

01:08After the city buses, we'll also check the provincial buses

01:13to see if they meet the safety standards.

01:17Is there any relief?

01:19Is the mechanical safety sufficient like the brake pads and the wheels?
