00:00This episode was really fun to read.
00:10Helena, we see looking at the innies,
00:20you know, we see her kind of studying Mark and Heli's interaction
00:25and having this curiosity about them.
00:28And so I think there is the aspect of this being one person
00:31and two parts of that same person.
00:33So there's obviously an inner rebel inside of Helena.
00:37You know, this is an aspect of her that's just not totally foreign.
00:41It is something that she has access to in some way.
00:45So, you know, playing those different layers was kind of,
00:49I don't know, like on Adobe Photoshop or something,
00:52and you're kind of working with the saturation or the exposure levels,
00:56and it's the same source material, but you're kind of modulating it
01:00based on what's happening.
01:03And then also the reactions of my teammates and, you know,
01:07the directors and how it's kind of landing for the group
01:11that she's trying to blend into.
01:13It was so interesting watching that be the particular thing
01:17that gives Helena away is this cruel comment she makes,
01:24and that really kind of hits Irving sideways
01:27and kind of doesn't sit right with him.
01:30But it's so interesting because for Helena, you know,
01:33she's been doing an admirable job of, you know,
01:38pretending to be this other person down there
01:41and has been tricking everyone
01:46and has been doing a, you know,
01:49really pulling something over on all of them.
01:53But then this thing she says, this thing she does,
01:56we see it as cruelty, but it's so interesting
02:00the way it comes out is just instinct.
02:04I think, like Britt was saying, this person was raised
02:07in this environment where that's just how you communicate
02:10with each other, and sort of like wanton cruelty
02:13is just the name of the game.
02:15I mean, that's like probably doesn't even consider
02:20or think twice about saying something like that.
02:23Being in Helyar's shoes gives, like she learns something
02:26about herself by getting to see a perspective
02:30that is this kind of pure.
02:32And in the tent scene before, she acknowledges.
02:35She's like, that was mean.
02:37Yeah.
02:38You know, she does have some idea that,
02:42she does have some sense of right and wrong there.
02:45Whereas maybe before her time down there,
02:47she wouldn't have even flagged it.
02:49Yeah, maybe. I don't know. I don't know.
