00:00Former MP Ong Kian Ming proposed 5 candidates as a replacement for Nazri Aziz for the position of Malaysian Ambassador to the United States.

00:09Nurul Izzah Anwar, Tengku Zafrul Aziz, Nazir Razak, Yusmadi Yusuf and Faiz Abdullah.

00:15Ong criticized Nazri for failing to arrange a phone call between Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and President of the United States, Donald Trump,

00:24which he said was of diplomatic importance.

00:27He emphasized that neighboring countries such as Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand and Singapore had communicated with Trump before appointing him.

00:36According to Ong, replacement Nazri needs to have direct access to Anwar, good relations with the Prime Minister of Malaysia,

00:43as well as an effort to interact with the founder in the United States.

00:49He appointed Faiz Abdullah as the external advisor to Anwar, Nurul Izzah as his trustee,

00:56Tengku Zafrul as a minister who can be expected, Nazir Razak as an influential corporate leader,

01:03and Yusmadi Yusuf as an old individual in Anwar's political circle.

01:08Ong suggested that Malaysia send a right-wing minister to invite Trump to the Asian Summit,

01:15as well as hold an important meeting with US officials.
