00:06The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines is investigating the incident of a plane crash in Maguindanao del Sur.

00:14According to the report, the plane came from Cebu and was on its way to Cotabato City.

00:21Four passengers were killed, including a US military service member and three defense contractors.

00:28According to the report, it was conducted by the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Support,

00:33which is part of the US-Philippine Security Cooperation Activities.

00:37The cause of the incident is still being investigated.

00:43The Department of Migrant Workers closed a language learning center in Manila

00:48due to the illegal practice and manipulation of work in Japan.

00:54The learning center is in a mode of request for applicants to enroll first in their center in exchange for P40,000.

01:03This is a violation of the proper process of the DMW,

01:06where the selection process or the choice of an employer for the applicants should be done first

01:12before joining any practice.

01:15Some branches of this center are also included in the closure order in other places.

01:20They will say that you will study here, you will pay, you will train,

01:25and when you finish your training, we will refer you to an agency that will deploy you.

01:31That is prohibited because the training centers are not supposed to hire and deploy

01:37and to enter into a tie-up relationship, more so to engage into any form of recruitment.
