00:15The gorgeous marble lobby with its 33-foot ceiling had been preserved, and views from

00:18the rooms are some of the best in the city.

00:20I could see both Central Park and the Hudson River from mine.

00:22Staff had told me that the soaking tub would fill in 60 seconds, and they were right.

00:26After a very long bath, I headed to Thai Bar downstairs in the lobby to do the hard

00:29work of sampling the new menu, where drinks are designed to help you journey through New
