00:00I'm crying all the time.
00:02No, I'm very happy.
00:08Hi everybody!
00:10I'm Lana Condor and I'm very excited
00:12to be here with InStyle.
00:14Today, I'm going to show you
00:16how I touch up,
00:18how I refresh the face.
00:24I love ASMR, I love it.
00:26Shall we begin?
00:28This is my little pouch
00:30and I tried to fill it with
00:32my noisiest products.
00:42The first thing we're gonna do
00:46a burp
00:48is imminent.
00:52I just reabsorbed the burp
00:54into myself.
00:56Let's carry on.
00:58The first product that I like to use
01:02This is the Elizabeth Arden
01:048-Hour Lip Balm.
01:06I love her
01:08hand cream.
01:10Didn't know she made lip balm.
01:16Let's just do it one more time.
01:20It's so important to moisturize your lips, you guys.
01:22What are we doing with
01:24crusty lips?
01:26Moisturize.
01:28So I'm gonna do this.
01:32Because I really,
01:34really hate dry lips.
01:40That was amazing.
01:42It's been a long day.
01:44I just got off of a flight
01:46from Zurich, so
01:48I'm gonna need to put on eye drops.
01:50It's gonna go everywhere, but it's fine
01:52because I have makeup to touch up.
01:58Hold the phone.
02:06I mean, you're welcome.
02:08I think we're all in for a very
02:10big treat.
02:12Eye drops are going in, but I'm the type of person
02:14that when I do eye drops, it just
02:16looks like I'm weeping.
02:18I've got the sadness within me.
02:22Okay.
02:30Is it gonna fall?
02:32Am I crying?
02:34I'm crying, aren't I?
02:38No, I'm very happy.
02:40That tear is like the tear that all
02:42actresses hope
02:44that they could produce.
02:48Killed it.
02:50Now, what are we gonna do?
02:52We're gonna
02:54do some quick
02:56skin touch-ups.
02:58Why am I nervous?
03:00It's like when
03:02A Quiet Place 1 came out
03:04for the first time, and I saw
03:06it in theaters.
03:08Oh my god, I remember
03:10my literal soul
03:12leaving my body when someone
03:14crunched on a popcorn.
03:16I was like, ah!
03:18How do I feel right now?
03:20First, a refresh.
03:22I already have makeup on,
03:24but usually before I do makeup,
03:26I put the setting spray on first
03:28as an adhesive.
03:30But right now,
03:32it's gonna be used as a refresh.
03:48Okay.
03:50We're gonna fix up a little bit
03:52of the skin. This...
03:54I think
03:56it's pronounced
03:58Arborian. It's a Korean
04:00skin therapy. It's such
04:02an amazing product. It's a
04:04CC cream. This one is so cool.
04:06Because when it
04:08comes out, it comes out like white.
04:10When you warm it up on your hands,
04:12it goes to your skin tone.
04:18But wait.
04:22Why isn't it doing all
04:24the work? I discovered it
04:26on YouTube, and then
04:28when I went to
04:30Korea, I had a lot of makeup artists
04:32use it on my skin.
04:34It's kind of brilliant,
04:36and it's so light, and it's good for
04:38your skin. It's not just some random stuff
04:40you're throwing on.
04:42Oh my god, I'm so
04:44burpy. Excuse me.
04:46I'm just gonna touch up
04:48where the crying was.
04:52Okay.
04:54I love to
04:56feel like I'm not really wearing a lot of makeup,
04:58so products like that are great.
05:00Let me just...
05:04My hand while I'm at it. That's crazy,
05:06but just pretend you don't see it.
05:08Let's do this. It's the
05:10Dior Forever Skin Contour
05:12Stick
05:14Sculptint
05:16Sculptstick. It's my new
05:18favorite thing because I like makeup
05:20that's easy. I like to kind of just like...
05:28I like to just kind of whack on makeup and go.
05:30I like it quick, easy.
05:32This is so
05:34quick and so easy, and it blends
05:36really, really well. I'm gonna go like this
05:38with my same crusty brush,
05:40and I'm gonna go...
05:42I'm so sorry.
05:44Like this. One, two.
05:46That's it. I really don't wear
05:48that much makeup on set. For
05:50whatever reason, it could be because I
05:52typically play younger,
05:54but I don't really wear a lot of makeup on set,
05:56so it'll just be like a tiny bit of concealer.
05:58I usually beg them to give me some
06:00sort of lip and eyebrow,
06:02but then it's good. But my
06:04makeup at home, I can do my makeup in
06:06five minutes. It's not like right now
06:08I have more makeup on than usual
06:10because, you know,
06:12we're running around promoting Value One
06:14coming out January 31st
06:16in theaters. Get your tickets.
06:18But usually this is far more makeup
06:20than I do every day.
06:22See how well that blended?
06:24I mean, I'm hoping
06:26it blended well. So Value One,
06:28I play cosmetic.
06:30They didn't put any makeup on me.
06:32They put sunscreen and blood.
06:34They put sunscreen, blood,
06:36and dirt on me. And honestly,
06:38guys, that was very freeing
06:40because if I feel
06:42like I have to be really
06:44well-maintained and beautiful,
06:46I can get a little self-conscious because I'll
06:48be like, oh, I hope I'm looking okay, whatever.
06:50But then when you get a job
06:52where you literally don't have to wear makeup and
06:54you don't think about what you look like, you just
06:56think about the work. So for to all the boys,
06:58I wore a lot.
07:00For that, I wore a lot of makeup for two
07:02and three. Alright, I've just
07:04been doing this. I don't really know if it's
07:06doing anything, but it's like the placebo.
07:08Get the top.
07:10Does it
07:12look like I have any
07:14form of
07:16cheekbone? Like really any?
07:18If the answer is yes, just a little,
07:20then I've won the day.
07:22I have a round face. What can I do?
07:26Now we're gonna put on blush.
07:28Blush is my favorite, favorite,
07:30favorite, favorite, favorite, favorite,
07:32favorite product.
07:34I was on a show once
07:36and we had been doing a lot of crying scenes
07:38and I
07:40looked crazy and when I cry
07:42my eyes get all swollen and
07:44everything and so
07:46I didn't look well
07:48and the makeup artist told me the little trick
07:50is just add more blush on your face
07:52because then you will
07:54always look alive
07:56and well. So I just carry this
07:58with me. It's my emotional support
08:00blush. I love this too because
08:02it has this
08:04flap.
08:06That makes so much sense.
08:08Cover your cream
08:10products, people.
08:12This goes a long way. Oh my gosh, I had
08:14to learn that the hard way.
08:16I do. One, two.
08:18One, two.
08:20I even think I did too much
08:22force. Take a little breath.
08:24Oh, yes.
08:26That was gonna be
08:28on my face. We're doing
08:30blush only here.
08:32Only here.
08:38I have said that my face eats blush
08:40and it does and that's
08:42why I put a lot of it on.
08:44It's gonna look crazy but
08:46just bear with me, guys.
08:48The one blush that has really
08:50a phenomenal staying
08:52powder power.
08:56Patrick Ta.
08:58She's blushing.
09:00That is such a good,
09:02good, good name for
09:04a product. Are you kidding me?
09:06Okay.
09:08Already looking more awake.
09:10Jetlag.
09:12She's not here with us today.
09:14Is jetlag in the room?
09:16No, sir. No, ma'am.
09:18Okay. Let's do
09:20lips.
09:24Lips.
09:26Here we go.
09:28Now.
09:36No. There was one
09:38that was really good.
09:42You're welcome.
09:44This, we have our trusty MAC
09:46lip pencil.
09:48I'm not great
09:50at lining my lips
09:52because I learned to line my lips
09:54during the age of Kylie
09:56Lip Kit. That's when I
09:58was watching How to Line a Lip
10:00and I fear
10:02I learned to go too
10:04much and so I'm trying to
10:06reel it back but
10:08you know what?
10:10We have much bigger problems in the world.
10:12Here we go.
10:20Okay.
10:24This is my
10:26go-to shade. I'm really into berries
10:28right now. Like, berry color. Also,
10:30I love a lip
10:32that looks like you just had a glass of red wine
10:34and it's more of a stain.
10:36I love that.
10:38Love. Like, that's also, that's very
10:40like, gay beauty. I love that.
10:42This is what I have to be like.
10:44Put the lip pencil down. Stop it.
10:46Like, I can't stop.
10:48Just one more.
11:12So much fun.
11:14I will be doing this at home.
11:16The lining is done.
11:18I didn't go insane
11:20but you tell me. But please be
11:22gentle in the comments but really tell me.
11:24We're up next.
11:26Clearance
11:28Lip Perfector.
11:32I think sometimes, like,
11:34the liner's enough and then you just kinda
11:36and you're fine but we'll do this.
11:38Don't
11:40come for me with the
11:42gloss, you guys. I can't get into the
11:44gloss. I like a satin
11:46finish but gloss
11:48like you're walking around and your hair's
11:50stuck to your gloss and you're like, trying to have a
11:52conversation but your hair's like
11:54and then I'm like, can't
11:56speak or I'm like, the wind is whipping
11:58in the hair. So the gloss just
12:00is like, chill.
12:02I don't really
12:04like a gloss. Can you tell?
12:06Alright.
12:10There you go.
12:12That's the lip.
12:14I think the most important part
12:16of
12:18my makeup routine at least
12:20is the blush
12:22and the lip and then I can kinda
12:24figure out
12:26the rest. Like, if I was stuck
12:28on an island or whatever
12:30blush and a lip, could you imagine
12:32like, I'm on a deserted island
12:34and like, I don't know
12:36what to do.
12:38I'm on an island and like
12:40I just have a full red lip
12:42and blush
12:44but I'm like, I need water
12:46but I still look good
12:48so, you know. I wouldn't
12:50make it a day. Not a day.
12:56I'll just give my face a little spritz
12:58and I think we'll
13:00we'll bounce out
13:02of here. I travel with this everywhere
13:04as always and I travel back and I'm always spritzing myself
13:06on a plane so if you see mist
13:08in the air and you're
13:10sitting next to me, don't worry
13:12it's just my beauty elixir.
13:28And one for you.
13:32It didn't light that one.
13:36And there you have it. Alright everyone
13:38thank you so much for watching. I hope you
13:40enjoyed watching me
13:42touch up my look.
13:44Bye!
