Sa mga suki ng Pinoy tasty at Pinoy pandesal, may taas-presyo na sa mga ito ngayong buwan. Pinagbigyan kasi ng Department of Trade and Industry ang mga gumagawa nito dahil sa tumataas na presyo ng mga sangkap.

00:18Starting this February, Pinoy Tasty increased its price by P3.50.

00:25P2.25 for each pack of Pinoy Pandesal, which has 10 pieces.

00:30Manufacturers have been increasing their prices for years.

00:34But now, the Department of Trade and Industry gave them

00:37because they also saw the rising prices of the ingredients.

01:11The DTI negotiated with the bread manufacturers

01:35According to Panaderong Pilipino, which is part of the community bakeries,

01:39this is the reason why they stopped selling Pinoy Tasty and Pinoy Pandesal.

01:43They also said that the rising prices are temporary

01:46because the prices of Pinoy Tasty and Pinoy Pandesal are too far

01:49compared to the usual 3 pesos to 3 pesos and 50 centavos prices of Pandesal in bakeries.

01:56The people who do this will have a lot of motivation

02:01to do this because the bakery won't lose money.

02:09But this cheapness can't be given by the community bakeries.

02:37they feel that the prices of raw materials are rising.

02:42Sugar, oil, vanilla, milk.

02:46We're just adjusting to the size of the bread.

02:48Before, it was big.

02:50Now, we're adjusting because it's low-gain.
