00:08The tram that became a public transport in Manila before World War II, was revived and is now being lined up.
00:17From Intramuros, it goes to Intramuros-Binondo Bridge, straight to Binondo, until it reaches Escolta.
00:27I am now riding the tram from Intramuros to Escolta in Manila.
00:34It is free to ride during the weekends of February from 10am to 6pm.
00:41They do this to show the public the similarities of Intramuros and Escolta in Manila in terms of arts and culture.
00:53The journey is 20 to 30 minutes so you can really enjoy the view.
00:58It's one of the ways for you to know about its culture here in Intramuros and as well as the whole of the city of Manila.
01:05I think it's a wonderful initiative put on by Escolta and the Intramuros administration to link these creative communities from Escolta to Intramuros.
01:13The tram via ride is one of the highlights of the street art fair of Intramuros and Escolta.
01:19We aim to connect the bridge of Intramuros and Escolta through contemporary art.
01:26We seek to provide a platform for our local artisans, artists, and merchants to showcase their creativity and work.
01:35One of the things you will see in this trade fair is the various mosaic portraits.
01:40Just like the mosaic portrait of Dr. Jose Rizal and some beauty queens.
01:46This is different because these mosaic portraits are made from plastic bricks.
01:52We get to see different forms of art from many different artists.
01:56All of their works, any form of art, are still made by the hands of talented Pinoy.
02:04For Jimmy Integrated News, Katrina Son, for Tutok 24 Horas.
