The Saints lineman gives his views on the Eagles dominant win over the Chiefs
Transcript
00:00That was a blowout, that was a beat down, you know, from the jump.
00:16That Philadelphia team is probably one of the most complete teams that we've seen in
00:20NFL in a long time and they were pretty healthy, right, going into this playoff run, so they're
00:25very good up front.
00:26You got the best offensive line, you got the best running back in the league this year,
00:32you got a damn good tight end, and then Goddard and two elite receivers on the edge, so, you
00:37know, it's really up to Jalen Hersh's to go out there and not do anything to put his team
00:42in harm's way and he didn't do that at all and their defense came to play in all facets.
00:47Your quarterback is not supposed to be that person that is necessarily adding to that,
01:00especially when you have a guy like Patrick Longs, who has been in this situation.
01:05I definitely think it dings his overall legacy a little bit, but at the end of the day, I
01:12mean, you're talking about who you want to go to battle with quarterback-wise, he's still
01:15up there.
01:16He's still up there on your all-time list.
01:24Was this a bad game for the team and not ideal for him as a player?
01:29Yeah, it definitely was not, but, you know, sometimes you just got to keep your perspective
01:33clear and not always say, hey, I'm not the last game I ever played, I'm not the last
01:38few games I've ever played.
01:39And, you know, he has an extreme body of work that he's done really well for himself, you
01:46know, in his career.
