01:01on stage at the concert. She recently released her first pop single and is hoping to make
01:06it big as a pop star. Also on stage are singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, actress Zarin Khan and
01:12Sophie Chaudhry. Performing for UAE National Day are Dayana
01:16Haddad, Ali Al-Katiri and Ali Al-Nagpi at Global Village. Also there are fireworks,

01:28In Abu Dhabi on Friday, Michael Jackson will be present, in spirit at least. The King of
01:32Pop may no longer be with us, but he's very much with his brothers Jackie, Jermaine, Tito
01:37and Marlon who bring their Jackson's Unity Tour to Dew Forum this weekend. Jackie says
01:42the show is a tribute to a brother they love and miss deeply.
01:51If it's hot news you're after, look no further than the Dubai International Film Festival,
02:14which begins its 9th edition on December 9th. This week, we learned that Life of Pi, Ang Lee's
02:19Oscar-tipped adaptation of the novel by Jan Martel, will open the festival with its young
02:24Indian star Suraj Sharma due to walk the red carpet.
02:28Also expected at the festival are Colin Firth, Cate Blanchett, Kevin Spacey, Frida Pinto,
02:33Rooney Mara and Sex and the City star Kristen Davis, who will attend a charity function
02:38raising money for Oxfam and Dubai Cares. Tickets for the festival, which will screen more than
02:44160 films, are on sale now.
02:46If you're in Kuwait or Bahrain this weekend, you'll be graced with the presence of Kim
02:49Kardashian who's in the GCC to open more of her milkshake counters.
02:55And in international news, Halle Berry's men are throwing their toys out of the sandpit
02:59in some very primary school-style fighting. Her ex Gabrielle Aubrey showed pictures this
03:03week of the heavy bruising he got from her current boyfriend Olivier Martinez when they
03:08fought on Thanksgiving. Aubrey's comment, he started it.

03:45In Bollywood news, it's official. Anil Kapoor will play India's version of Jack Bauer.
03:50The actor, who appeared in a small role in the hit US series 24, is producing his own
03:54version for India. Kapoor told Tabloid that his television debut is bigger than any film
03:59he's done.
04:00He's been away for two years, but your hunt for Aamir Khan ends today as his thriller
04:04Talaash hits the theatres this weekend. He plays a no-nonsense cop in this film, but
