High Court ruling has left policing in ‘hopeless position’ says Rowley

00:32The judge has identified a clear gap in the law.

00:36One that we have done our best to bridge, but as the judge has said, the answer lies

00:41in strengthened police vetting regulations.

00:46So in repeating the same request for two and a half years, one echoed by the Casey and

00:53Angelina reviews, I am once again calling on government today to introduce new regulations

00:59as a matter of extreme urgency.
