00:00The media is a profession. It's like saying you have a rocky relationship with politicians.
00:16No. I respect the profession. It's a wonderful profession and something which is very important
00:22for us as actors. And I have a lot of friends actually who, I wouldn't say are phone buddies,
00:30but I'm quite close to them and talk to them on and off. Maybe I don't do interviews if I don't
00:35have a film already seen, but I talk to them on and off in various sections of the media,
00:39from some of the channels to some of the journalists to move around different papers,
00:45some of the freelancers. So my relationship with any media persons, I would say, is individual.
00:52So today, if my relationship with you is going to be based on how you are with me
00:56and my relationship with somebody else would be based on that person. So I don't generalise
01:02anything. It's just so happened that this year, Doom had gotten released. It was supposed to
01:07release in December last year. And this October or November, Bang Bang, which is Siddharth
01:13Anand's film with Hrithik Roshan, was supposed to release. Now it just so happens that now this
01:17December, Doom is releasing and Siddharth's film is still left to be shot because Hrithik is,
01:23you know, he's still recovering from the surgery he had. So delays happen and these kind of delays
01:29are not in your control. And actually this year, I feel that I enjoyed the little pauses I got.
01:37And there were many times and many films which came and I could have squeezed them in, you know,
01:42in between. And I kind of have to say that I didn't. I mean, I just chose not to. So I think
01:49that it's good sometimes to have a year when you kind of had a bit of a breather. Of course,
01:55I think Doom is an amazing film with so much effort gone behind it. But I've got a lot of
01:59confidence in the film. So yes, I hope and I pray that it's a huge success. I hope people love it.
02:04But I think it's a really good film. I will not wear something I don't like. If you give me a
02:08piece of jewellery, even if I'm endorsing your brand, I will not wear it. So I had to. It was
02:13really important to me when, you know, there were different brands which had come to me at that
02:16point that I know I actually asked to see everything first to know that I would be happy
02:21wearing it, because I think there's a certain delicacy and intricacy in the pieces which
02:28Nakshatra have. And that for me works, you know, so I know that it's never going to be a situation.
02:34Of course, there'll be some pieces I like more than others, but I'll never be a situation where
02:38I'm like, oh my god, what is this, you know?
