00:27At 10.30am, the cries of the newborn filled the air, and there she was, a beautiful baby
00:33girl.
00:34She was just perfect, and injected much required joy into an otherwise sombre situation.
00:47She was named Fatima, after Sheikh Fatima bint Mubarak, wife of the late Sheikh Zayed
00:52bin Sultan al-Nahyan.
01:01While the mother Kifah was being attended to by nurses, little Fatima was the star of
01:06the moment.
01:13The lady doctor who delivered her informed us that both mother and baby were doing well,
01:17and that it was a normal delivery.
01:39Tears ran down Kifah's cheek when Fatima was placed in her arms.
01:47The UAE Ambassador, Dr. Abdullah Al-Amri, arrived at the hospital to congratulate Kifah
02:02and the team of doctors.
02:17Although the circumstances of Fatima's birth were not ideal, the little bundle of joy brought
02:41a sense of hope to an otherwise hopeless situation.
