01:01Jihadist militants in Iraq say they have fully captured the country's main oil refinery
01:06at Baiji, north of Baghdad. The refinery had been under siege for 10 days with a militant
01:11offensive being repulsed several times. The complex supplies a third of Iraq's refined
01:17fuel and the battle has already led to petrol rationing.
01:20Pakistan police have registered cases against an anti-government religious leader and his
01:251,300 supporters. Pakistan Awami Tariq's leader Dr Tahirul Qadri and his supporters
01:30have been accused of damaging public property, attacking police and creating a law and order
01:35situation. Qadri planned to lead a protest march from Islamabad to Lahore by road.
