00:00Well, we were asked to be a part of Dubai Shopping Festival's 20th anniversary, which
00:19is super exciting.
00:20And I think my love for fashion, and my clothing line, and being on Fashion Please certainly
00:25helped.
00:26And, yeah, when they called us and said, you know, this is a really important year
00:31for us, would you like to be a part of it, we jumped at the opportunity.
00:35So not only are we hosting the biggest party in Dubai for New Year's with Pharrell Williams
00:39and some other big stars, but at midnight on New Year's Eve, the 20th anniversary of
00:44Dubai Shopping Festival kicks off.
00:47So it's a month long of festivities, and great deals, and lots of shopping.
00:52And let's be honest, it's an excuse for me to shop.
01:00It's very safe here, you know, the crime rate is very low, it's practically non-existent.
01:05It's so safe, so I didn't feel nervous at all, I'm more nervous walking down certain
01:10streets in the U.S. at night than I am here in Dubai.
01:14So I feel very safe, very well looked after, you know, it's a very modern society, very
01:21forward-thinking society.
01:24So I knew I would love it, I'd only heard great things about it.
01:27So that's another thing is, you know, I love to travel somewhere that is fabulous and I'm
01:32able to go home and report on that, you know.
01:35And so it'll be great to go on E! News and talk about, you know, how wonderful this experience
01:39has been and to educate other people, and, you know, I think that's really part of our
01:44job and which we love to do and we appreciate doing that.
01:54The new Fashion Police will be tied to the Golden Globes, so after the Golden Globes
01:58we're going to do a Golden Globes special Fashion Police, and we're very excited.
02:02Kathy Griffin is an incredible comedian, and we just did our first photo shoot with her
02:09recently and video shoot for all the promos, it was so much fun.
02:14We all get along very well.
02:16Brad Goreski is a new addition to the team as well, and we've all known each other for
02:20a long time, so when we heard that, you know, that they were joining the show, Kelly and
02:26I knew that it would work well, that we knew, you know, because we all know each other,
02:30we've worked together in different capacities.
02:33So it's going to be fun.
02:35Listen, just like, I'm like a viewer, I have no idea what to expect because we've never
02:40done a show, that'll be our first show.
02:42So it's going to be very exciting to see how it turns out.
02:48I think the Golden Globes, yeah, the Golden Globes, because you have actors, you have
02:54TV actors and movie stars, it's a little looser than the Oscars, and you know, so people just
03:02come ready to have fun, it's more of a party, so I love the Golden Globes.
03:13We just finished our eighth season, and we're taking a break, you know, we've done eight
03:17seasons consecutively, we haven't had any time off, any downtime, so we're taking a
03:22break and just being parents and enjoying our beautiful son, Duke, and you know, we're
03:27going to see what happens, but we'll come back with a, I think, a version of it.
03:32We're probably going to tweak it a little bit and change it up.
03:35We've been together eight years, and we're just so in love, and we're best friends, and
03:41we get it, you know, listen, when he travels a lot, that's hard on him, so by me adding
03:48extra stress and complaining, it only makes it worse for him.
03:52He doesn't want to be away from his family, he doesn't want to be away from us, but he's
03:55doing it for the family, same with me, you know, when I travel, I do it, it's my career,

04:05feel bad about it, and I think that's really important, you know, for spouses to support
04:11each other.
04:17Journalists, absolutely, I think what changed everything was our reality show, you know,
04:22we have a reality show called Juliana and Bill, and I think people seeing us outside
04:27of our job, they identified with us on a different level, so that was exciting, and then Fashion
04:34Police really took off and became an international phenomenon as far as, you know, in the television
04:40world, which is, Fashion Police is seen in over 100 countries, so is E! News, but, you
04:46know, for me, no, I mean, I don't even,
04:49You're a celebrity in this show.
04:51No, but I, it's cool being able to do both.
04:58You know what, I get it, I get it 100%, you know, having hosted E! News for 13 years,
05:07five days a week, no hiatus, no time off, I report on, I report on every celebrity story,
05:13on every celebrity, and I get the fascination with celebrities, and I get that sometimes
05:19you report on stories that aren't the kindest, but they're the truth, and you have to do
05:24that aren't the kindest, but they're the truth, and you have to do it, and so, you
05:30know, I honestly don't have a problem with it, obviously, some of the stories are not
05:36true out there, but that's okay, it's okay, I get that it's part of the business, and
05:42having been on the other side, I'm definitely more, you know, I'm able to forgive those
05:49stories, because I get it, you know, so it's fine, you know, I don't let it bother me,
05:56because I realize there's real news happening in the world, that some silly story about
06:03me, I would never let it affect me, because it's ridiculous, you know, and I'm so lucky
06:09to be doing what I'm doing, that if that's a side effect of this business, it's okay,
06:15I'll take it, because it's an amazing job.
