00:00Being positive? I don't really believe in being positive. I believe that positivity
00:20is all crap. I am a man who goes by evidence. If there is enough evidence to be positive,
00:29then you should be positive. So that's how I lead my life. I am very objective, or at
00:37least that's the effort, to be objective and to do things with a logical analysis.
00:45Most of the time our fears are assumptions and they are not true. So it's not being positive,
00:51it's being honest and objective. All of us make resolutions and we break them. So you
01:03got to change that word itself. Don't say I'm going to make or take a resolution. Say
01:09I'm going to make a decision that I'm going to do this. That word is a bit more, there's
01:15more certainty in that word. Make decisions, not resolutions, because resolutions people break.
01:22The best and the worst? I think in hindsight, when you connect the dots, there is no worse
01:36time. Because if you've been able to assess your experience in the right way, and there is a right
01:44way, believe me, then what you take from that experience is a growth and some understanding
01:52or some learning. And in that way it transmutates into a good experience because that's how you
01:59grew. That's what made you the person you are now. So I don't consider any experience as being bad.
02:06All my experiences were there to teach me something in my life and they did. And it's
02:11made me a better man, a stronger man.
02:21It's one of my biggest successes and it was a film that I did right after my brain surgery. I was not in my best health, but yet I devised a new process.
02:38I had to change, cut a few corners around my approach to my art, as in I couldn't do exactly
02:46what I do normally for my films. So I took it a little easy and I discovered that there is a
02:55better way, there is a more joyful, a less stressful way to do the same work, if you just
03:03trust. So it was a learning process where I actually learned to trust myself and I avoided
03:09doing extra rehearsals or trying to make things perfect. I just did what I could
03:16to the best of my ability. And it turns out that I actually did better, I would say,
03:23than what I would have done if I had applied that much of my time and that much of my mind.
03:31So sometimes, you know, you have to learn how to just trust and just do.
03:39Well, I'm a very aware person. I am very aware of the things and the experiences that I've
03:47been through. I've analysed in a very positive way to understand why a person does what he does and
03:55what is the intention behind every single action of a human being.
04:00And through all my questions, all my questions have been very empowering ones.
04:04So because of that, I think I have learned a lot. And that brings me back to the fact that,
04:09you know, I had to, I feel this responsibility to be able to give back now, to contribute back to
04:18the world that has given me so much.
04:20I wouldn't turn back time at all. You know, because the adventure is in taking the moment
04:27the way it is and creating a life the way you want, even in spite of whatever has transpired.
04:35That's the adventure that we are in. And wanting or wishing or fantasising about turning back time
04:42is a waste of time. I am Hrithik Roshan and I am watching GNT.
