00:00Kingdom of Cambodia Prime Minister Hon Manet is currently in the Philippines for his first official visit to the country.

00:07The two countries signed an agreement on various aspects such as agriculture and technology.

00:15Here is my first news.

00:21On the first day of President Bongbong Marcos' visit, Kingdom of Cambodia Prime Minister Hon Manet received arrival honors.

00:27In his first two-day official visit to the Philippines, he was accompanied by First Lady Dr. Sean Moni Hon Manet

00:34and other government and business officials who signed eight agreements between the two countries.

00:40Before this, the two countries held a bilateral meeting where they discussed the ways to improve the two economies,

00:49cooperation for humanitarian assistance and disaster relief,

00:53and continued efforts to promote peace and stability in the region amid tensions in the South China Sea and Indo-Pacific region.

01:01I appreciate the Philippines contributions to our peace process and human resource development in civilian and military fields.

01:11We also recognize the vital role of the Filipino community in our socioeconomic progress.

01:17We are keen on taking our collaborations to new heights.

01:21Let me take this opportunity to once again express my gratitude to His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni

01:31for the grant of royal pardon to 13 Filipino surrogates

01:38and to your government for the assistance given to them during their time in Cambodia,

01:43a testament to the strong relations between our two countries.

01:47Rest assured, we will continue to stand with you in the fight against transnational crimes

01:54and their adverse effects on our peoples and on our communities.
