00:00When I read the scripts, I thought it was the best season so far, because you've spent
00:14so many years, the characters have gone off to different parts of the world, establishing
00:20so many things, setting so many things in motion, and now you kind of go, okay, it's
00:27time to, we get closer to the end game.
00:30No, I mean, you know, it's a part, you try to imagine what it would be like and then
00:40you do it, but it's not personal therapy, it's make-believe, it's not real.
00:51I think a lot of people, most people would have tried at one point in their life to be
00:56attractive, to fall in love with a person that they shouldn't fall in love with, and
01:00I think if you use that angle, that was my look into it.
01:04And the fact that he genuinely loves this woman, now, the fact that she's his sister
01:11is weird, but yeah, he started, but then I stopped, because I found that this is an adaptation
01:25and there are things that are left out, and I didn't want to miss stuff.
01:31And I'll probably read all, once George is done with all the books, I'll go back, because
01:36I know for a fact there's so much more in the books, and also I know that once we get
01:42to the last seasons, the books will be quite different, and it's going to be interesting
01:47to see how he, what he decides to focus on.
01:51I mean, already now, there are characters, major characters, that are still alive in
01:55the books that have been killed off.
02:03No, I mean, I love working on Game of Thrones, it's a lot of fun, I mean, at one point it's
02:07going to end, and the way they've done it throughout the seasons is, you know, every
02:13character that has gone, it's made sense, it's been great, and you're telling a story.
02:19So, yeah, I'm going to miss working with those people when that happens, but, you know.
02:29No, I don't worry about that, I mean, I was working for like 10, 15 years before Game
02:35of Thrones, and I'm going to work after, and it's massive, this show, and, but I've been
02:41working, I've been shooting a lot of movies while we were doing Game of Thrones, so, and
02:44I've been very, I mean, I do try to do very different work, just because I find that interesting
02:52to do different stuff, and, I mean, so far I haven't had any, I haven't felt any problems.
03:03No, they haven't watched it, but that's more like, they don't really, I mean, no, I mean,
03:08early on I didn't want them to watch it, they were too young, and now I guess they could,
03:12but they don't really enjoy watching their dad act in anything, and we're not Game of
03:17Thrones or anything, it's just weird, you know, when you know someone as close as, I
03:22mean, I find it, my wife's an actress, I find that weird to see her, you know, doing stuff.
03:27I mean, I can enjoy it and appreciate it, but it's still like, you're too close.
03:36Well, obviously I know, but nobody wants to know, really.
03:42Yeah.
03:43Yeah.
03:44Yeah.
03:45Yeah.
