00:08Two people were instantly killed while four others are in critical condition after a pickup
00:11truck ran into a McDonald's at a petrol station in Ajman on Sunday night.
00:15Ajman police confirmed that the driver had accidentally stepped on the accelerator instead
00:19of the brake, sending the vehicle crashing inside the restaurant.
00:22Colonel Abdullah Al Hamrani, deputy chief of Ajman police, told Golf News that the driver
00:26had suffered an epilepsy attack while driving, causing him to lose control of the vehicle.
00:31A fire broke out at a power station near King Faisal Road in Sharjah this morning, leading
00:35to power outages in the surrounding areas.
00:37Parts of Behera Corniche were without power for more than two hours following the fire,
00:40which broke out around 7am.
00:42The fire was put out quickly and the power supply was restored around 10.40am.
00:46A decorated ex-US Marine sergeant opened fire on police in Baton Rouge on Sunday, killing

00:52The attack in Louisiana came nearly two weeks after the fatal police shooting of a black

00:58In Sunday's attack, two Baton Rouge police officers and one sheriff's deputy were killed

01:05Emirates NBD has reported a first-half net profit of 3.71 billion dirhams, up 12% year-on-year.
