00:00A youth group in Dubai is campaigning to help victims of bullying in schools through sports.
00:16The group is organising Camp Play, a 10-day summer camp to help children combat bullying
00:21by building their confidence through sports.
00:23It's all about team spirit as well as we're helping with anti-bullying.
00:28So without too much, the children are learning about themselves and how to work as a team
00:33and how to work together to help prevent bullying that happens, unfortunately, all over the
00:39world.
00:40And I think just children coming out of their shell.
00:42Some children are a little more shy, so just bringing them out and letting them have so
00:47much fun, experiencing new things.
00:49The camp is open to children and teens between 5 and 14 years of age.
00:53It aims to build self-esteem through unconventional sports including human foosball, quidditch
00:58and broomball, along with conventional sports such as football, basketball, yoga, dutch
01:03ball, table tennis, badminton and volleyball.
01:05The first day I came here I was really shy, I didn't want to make friends, but as the
01:09day came on, I had more fun, I had more friends, I enjoyed it so much.
01:14I started feeling good.
01:16This camp is teaching me team spirit and mingling up with each other, so it makes a person good.
01:25The play opened on August 14 and will run until August 25 at Dubai Sports World in Dubai
01:31World Trade Center.
