00:00Fashion police is actually, you know, a lot of people say it's like a comedy show.
00:12You know, we have Margaret Show on and Nene Leakes is very funny.
00:16Obviously, Melissa Rivers is very funny.
00:19I mean, her mom was one of the greatest comedians of all time.
00:22So for us, we really focus on the fashion and the clothes.
00:28And there's just, you know, people love fashion and they love to talk about fashion.
00:33People go out at night and they talk to their friends about fashion and, did you see that
00:36dress?
00:37And so it's kind of just like a, you know, a chat show talking about fashion.
00:47It's nice to hear comments and feedback, but yeah, and you know, if there's something that's
00:54like an interesting idea that comes from someone, I mean, we've had people tweet ideas
01:00for segments that we've used.
01:03So you know, that's kind of fun.
01:06You know what I mean?
01:07So it's, I love social media and I love engaging with people.
01:10And I think it's, it's just, it's incredible, you know, the effect that it's had on just
01:16the ability for us to just communicate more, you know what I mean?
01:20So I see it as a good thing.
01:25I interviewed Samuel L. Jackson, who was receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award at DIFF.
01:31And I love something he said, I said, you know, everyone talks about how you've been
01:35in so many movies, you know, you've done, you've been in over a hundred movies.
01:40And I said, do you even know how many movies?
01:42And he goes, gosh, he goes, I honestly don't even know.
01:46And I almost looked at him like, wow, like, you know, most people would know how many
01:49movies they've been in.
01:50And he said something so interesting.
01:51He goes, honestly, he goes, you know what?
01:53I grew up in a household where people woke up and they went to work every day.
01:57And that's what I do.
01:58I wake up and I go to work every day.
02:00And I thought it was just such like a humbling thoughts.
02:03Like it was like a very humble thought.
02:05And you know, it's interesting.
02:08You know, obviously he does amazing work, you know, and what he does is extraordinary.
02:12And he's got an incredible talent.
02:14But I think that's what keeps him so real and so grounded is he kind of thinks we're
02:20all the same.
02:21Like we get up, go to work, you know, and hopefully you love what you do.
02:25And I just thought that was a great message.
02:27And I also talked to Tyrese last night on the red carpet.
02:30And he had incredible insight into Hollywood and life and just great advice.
02:39And he just, you know, he said a lot of great words of wisdom, too, and talked a lot about
02:44how he gives back to inner city kids.
02:47And, you know, I just that's what I love, too.
02:49And Tyrese actually said, he goes, you know what, when you die, no one knows how much
02:54money was in your bank account, right?
02:56All they know is what you did in this world, what you did for people, you know, and so
03:01I just love that.
03:02I thought that that was I love talking to actors and getting those types of stories
03:06out of them, because I think at the end of the day, that's the most inspirational message
03:10to send to the viewers.
