00:08President Donald Trump's son, Donald Trump Jr., son-in-law Jared Kushner, and former
00:12campaign manager Paul Manafort have been asked to appear before U.S. Senate committees next
00:17week to answer questions about the campaign's alleged connections to Russia, officials said
00:22on Wednesday.
00:23The three men are the closest associates of the president to be called to speak to lawmakers
00:28involved in probing Russian meddling in the 2016 U.S. presidential election and possible
00:33collusion with the Trump campaign.
00:35Trump, who came into office in January, has been dogged by allegations that his campaign
00:40officials were connected to Russia, which U.S. intelligence agencies have accused of
00:45interfering in last year's election.
00:47Trump has denied any collusion.
00:49Senator John McCain, the 2008 Republican presidential nominee, has brain cancer.
00:54His office disclosed Wednesday night.
00:56McCain, 80, has a glioblastoma, one of the most common but also one of the most malignant
01:01brain tumors.
01:02McCain's office said he was recuperating at his home in Arizona and appreciates the
01:07outpouring of support he has received over the last few days.
01:11India began counting votes for its next president on Thursday, with the ruling coalition's candidate
01:16Ram Nath Kovind clear favorite to win the largely ceremonial post, extending the government's
01:21control of top jobs.
01:23Some 4,800 members of parliament and state assemblies cast votes this week to choose
01:28between Kovind and Meera Kumar, a former speaker backed by the main opposition Congress party
01:33as the 14th president.
01:36Hasbro is now offering a Star Wars Monopoly set for sale in the U.S. that includes the
01:40female character Rey, after an uproar that started 18 months ago with an online plea
01:46by an 8-year-old girl to include her.
01:49The Port-a-Kit-based game maker had been selling a version of the game that had only
01:53male characters, prompting 8-year-old Annie Rose Goldman of Evanston, Illinois, to write
01:58a letter in January 2016, telling the company Girls Matter.
02:03The letter went viral and Hasbro promised to make what it called a running change to
02:07include Rey in sets it said would be available later in the year.
02:11The listing on Hasbro's website says the game will be available on July 25.
02:16And finally, the weather.
