Die an Geldnot leidende Näherin Barbara Duggen stolpert in Sew Torn auf dem Rückweg von einem Hausbesuch zufällig auf einen missglückten Drogendeal. Sowohl Käufer als auch Dealer liegen verwundet und handlungsunfähig auf der Straße und bei der Menge an Geld lässt sich Barbara hinreißen, dieses mithilfe ihrer Nähkünste zu stehlen. Aber so leicht kommt sie damit nicht davon.
