00:09The idea was that we wanted to make a period movie, especially during the partition.

00:45He used to tell us that we used to celebrate festivals together.

00:48We used to celebrate Eid together, Diwali together.

00:52So we wanted to show a happy life.

00:57Because it's a Bollywood movie.

00:59We wanted to show the romance of that time.

01:04We used to hold each other's hands, look at each other from a distance and be happy.

01:08We used to walk 10 km to each other's village.
