00:00Since it's, you know, iftar is the time where you break your fast, so the trend has been
00:12that you will put in a lot of food which is, you know, which has more carbs or energy,
00:20lots of water and lots of, you know, tailor-made drinks for the iftar that can really hydrate
00:26you.
00:27The main difference is the real iftar, what we say is kind of snacks, right?
00:33So it's based on like pakoras, samosas, are traditional snacks, right?
00:39So this kind of evolved as a tradition that we will have these things as iftar and then
00:45after that people also have dinner, right?
00:48It's a choice, but most of the people have the snack or iftar alongside dinner, together,
00:57or sometimes people have iftar, they wait for a few hours and then they have the dinner
01:03at their regular time around 9 o'clock or 8 o'clock.
01:07This iftar was booked for three weeks in advance, usually Ramadan is very busy over here, I
01:15mean, we didn't get a chance.
01:17They start getting booked like three weeks even before the Ramadan date is announced.
01:22So we were a bit late, we didn't get any iftar spots.
01:26We actually got eat-day breakfast, we were trying to invent stuff now to just get everybody
01:31else together.
