00:24She was so inspired by the efficiency on display that she even floated the idea of doing a

00:29third instalment of the Mardani crime thriller franchise based on the work of the UAE's female

00:35cops.

00:36Arriving at the station in a souped-up Maserati Dubai police car, Mukherjee was keen to learn

00:41about the workings of a visual police station that prides itself on eliminating paperwork.

00:47She also mixed with female officers to find out what crimes they fight and how fast they

00:51respond.

00:52I think this is something that is amazing, something new that I learned coming to Dubai

00:58and I'm so happy meeting all the women police officers here.

01:02They are truly gorgeous with the way they look and of course the deed that they're doing,

01:07securing all of you guys, securing their city and keeping everybody safe, especially the

01:15visitors as well, as well as the people who stay here.

01:18So I'm truly, truly honoured to meet all these brave and courageous policewomen and

01:24it's really, really wonderful to be here.

01:27I can't express my happiness right now.

01:31The only thing I can say is that I salute all of them.

01:33The movie's producers, Yashraj Films, also hosted a special screening of Mardani 2 for

01:38Dubai police officers later on Thursday evening at VOX Cinemas in Deira City Centre.

01:44I had a screening for Mumbai police, for all the Mumbai policewomen yesterday when

01:50I was in Bombay and today I come to Dubai and I chose that we should show it to all

01:55the women police officers in Dubai because the film is about Shivani Shivaji Roy who's

02:00a police officer, who's a woman police officer and I want to bring the women police force

02:05right centre stage because I absolutely salute their bravery, their courage because they

02:10have to manage and balance between their personal life as well as their professional

02:15life and the way they do it is amazing, the kind of sacrifices the women police officers

02:19make because they have children growing but they still, their sense of duty for their

02:25city and for their country is immense and I absolutely love and respect that.

02:29Being a mother myself, being a professional myself, I think what women police officers

02:34do, I think it's absolutely brave and courageous.

02:36So especially to give a tribute to them, I thought that the first thing that Dubai

02:42should watch, it's the women police officers should watch my movie first.
