00:08I think this is something that's actually, they say that till now it really helps to heighten yourself.
00:17Today is a very different Friday morning. A, I'm up at 8am which never happens.
00:23However, I've decided to be healthy this morning because Bollywood star Isha Gupta who has been practicing yoga for the last 10 years
00:32is going to be on stage in a few minutes to show us her signature moves.
00:38Yoga is all about, you know, taking a moment, breathing, what we forget to do in our real life now
00:43because our life has become so fast, it's all about Instagram, it's all about social media.
00:49You know, even your work is the same like us. We are either working 20 hours a day or otherwise we are just sitting at home.
00:55I wish I was just sitting at home but yes.
00:57But you know, it tends to happen for someone like me at least I'll say because of our schedule.
01:01But when we work, we work 20 hours.
01:03You know, so it's so difficult looking the best, feeling the best and it's not just about looking the best
01:09because I feel you need to feel best from the inside. That's how you can amend your positivity to the world.
01:16And I think that's why yoga is so important because you breathe at every asana and just think and connect with your body.
01:23And she's also a proponent of Surya Namaskars. How many should we do?
01:27That is Ishaan's salutation for those who are unfamiliar with yoga poses.
01:30It's got how many movements? I'm not sure.
01:32So the way, the one I do, it has 15 poses but I always do.
01:37So there are different kind of people who like to follow different things.
01:41There are some people who believe in doing it in a flow.
01:44So you're not holding every pose and you're just doing it in a flow and you do it really fast.
01:49That's to burn calories they feel but for me, it's about sweating.
01:53If you hold the pose, any pose, you're even breathing, relaxing, understanding plus just holding the pose.
02:01People don't realize the amount of core is being used.
02:03And that's when you realize your stability is like going like that, you know.
02:07And that's what so I do about like 15 a day and I'm sorted.
02:10She's been practicing yoga for the last 10 years and she's going to show us her favorite poses.
02:15We might look like a lobster doing it, she looks like a swan.
02:18So go ahead.
02:19I'm just going to say that more than yoga, this I do almost every morning.
02:23I think it's also because it just opens your hip flexors.
02:27I'm a dancer as well, it helps me with that.
02:29And as women, we wear heels.
02:32So this is for all of that.
02:34So I don't know.
02:36I know it looks easy.

03:10So this is something that it really elongates you.
03:13You have to just feel like something's pulling you.
03:15Yeah.
03:16And it stretches your low back.
03:18Like I have a low back problem because of all the travel that we keep doing.
03:21I have a neck issue.
03:23I don't have these issues, but just by traveling a lot, this keeps happening.
03:27And this actually, they say till now, like till whatever age, if you keep doing it, you'll actually heighten yourself.
