00:00First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos won the World Government Summit 2025 in Dubai

00:05in recognition of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s success in protecting the environment and health of the people.

00:13Two more agreements were signed as part of the re-establishment of the Pasig River.

00:24Genuine cooperation between government and the private sector

00:28can help achieve change that is sustainable, meaningful, and inclusive.

00:58in the field of medical services and environmental protection.

01:03For 28 years, she has taught at public universities and colleges.

01:10She was chosen by the First Lady to be a mentor and guide for a batch of students.

01:16Out of embarrassment, the First Lady witnessed their change,

01:22their success in completing her studies and becoming a lawyer.

01:27The Love for All project was also led by the First Lady

01:31which provides free laboratories, consultations, and medicines

01:35to help the private sector and volunteer groups.

01:40This is in keeping with the words of my husband when he says

01:44that government must bring medical services to the people and not the other way around.

01:50So what started as a project that provided free medical services

01:56grew into a caravan that offered business mentorships, legal services,

02:03scholarships, seedlings for farmers, and much more.

02:07The First Lady also encouraged the creation of the Inter-Agency Committee

02:12of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

02:14that pushes for reforms to revive the Pasig River.

02:20The quality of the water in the river and the construction of a walkway were improved.

02:26All of this was achieved thanks to the cooperation between the government,

02:35the private sector, and our citizens who are ready to serve.

02:40Meanwhile, at the World Government Summits,

02:43the Philippines and the United Arab Emirates held two meetings

02:48including the Memorandum of Understanding between the Philippine government

02:52and the non-profit organization Clean Rivers Abu Dhabi

02:56to restore the former cleanliness of the Pasig River.

03:00First Lady Liza Arneta Marcos agreed to end the increased pollution in the Pasig River

03:06before the Philippines hosted the ASEAN Summit in 2026.

03:11The Philippines and the UAE also held a joint technical team

03:18to implement projects such as capacity building for leadership and public financial management.
