00:00Sean Dee Dee Combs has filed a $100 million defamation lawsuit Wednesday against the companies
00:06behind Dee Dee, The Making of a Bad Boy, alleging that the revelations from the broadcast were
00:12actually an outrageous set of fresh lies.
00:16The nearly 90-minute documentary, which debuted in January on Peacock, featured Combs' former
00:21friends, colleagues, and employees, who spoke about key moments in the embattled rapper's
00:26life, including his relationship with Kim Porter, who died of lober pneumonia in 2018.
00:34The lawsuit filed in New York alleges that, through the documentary NBCUniversal, Peacock
00:40and production company Ample Entertainment falsely highlighted that Dee Dee was responsible
00:45for the death of Porter, his late romantic partner and also the mother to his children.
00:51The lawsuit also alleges that producer Albert Brown made false statements about the circumstances
00:57of Porter's death, as well as about a rumoured diary.
01:01As the complaint in the lawsuit reads,
01:03By maliciously advancing the unhinged narrative that Mr. Combs is a serial killer, with absolutely
01:09no evidence or logic to stand on, and in the face of clear evidence to the contrary, defendants
01:15spread fake news of the most damaging kind.
01:19Further, the lawsuit stated that the documentary baselessly showed Mr. Combs as a monster and
01:25an embodiment of Lucifer, with a lot of similarities to Jeffrey Epstein, who was an American financier
01:31and child s**t offender.
01:34Representatives for NBC have not yet responded to the same.
01:38Combs, who has denied s**t assault allegations in nearly 50 civil lawsuits filed since November
01:432023, is currently facing federal racketeering and s**t trafficking charges.
01:49He pleaded not guilty and is in custody at a Brooklyn jail awaiting trial in May this year.
