00:00In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
00:06O my Lord, open my heart and ease my affairs.
00:08And speak to me in a tongue that understands my speech.
00:11With regards to this night,
00:14you have heard the repentance, the seeking of forgiveness, and the supplication in a specific way.
00:21But there are a few incidents that we have gathered in this segment.
00:26I will not say for you, I will say for myself, so that I can correct myself and revise a few things.
00:32Because today's night, in every respect,
00:36brings attention to the seeking of forgiveness and this topic.
00:40And such traditions, such things come to mind,
00:46or pass in front of a person's eyes, that a person becomes surprised.
00:50For example, in Ramadan, I mentioned it in an article,
00:52and then I saw it on social media for the last few days.
00:56For example, the comparison of the life of this world and the hereafter.
01:01We compare the life of this world and the hereafter,
01:05that this world is 30 years, 40 years, 50, 60, 70, 80, 100, 120 years old.
01:12But that world, where in exchange for the deeds of this world,
01:17either punishment or reward is to be received, that is forever.
01:21But now listen,
01:22Listen to the words of the Holy Prophet,
01:25how he explained it by doing a comparative analysis,
01:28that what is the life of this world, what is the life of the hereafter.
01:33To explain it, he said, suppose that,
01:35one, the words are mine, of course, the meaning is only his,
01:39that if I am standing in a sea,
01:43I am standing on the shore of the sea, the sea, the waves,
01:45to the extent that there is only water,
01:48if I am standing in such a place,
01:50and in such a situation, if I dip one finger of my hand in the water,
01:59in the water of the sea,

02:02and after a while, if I pick up that finger,

02:10Now, to explain this, he said,
02:13that the duration of the life of this world and the hereafter,

02:35and the sea that is flowing in front of us,

02:51the world versus the hereafter,
02:53this world and that hereafter.
02:58So, we have just recited, we keep repeating the same sequence,
03:01in recitation, the meaning of the verse was that,
03:03whatever happens, its reward is for sure,
03:05whatever happens, its punishment is also for sure,
03:07the crime that is committed, will be punished for the crime,
03:09the killer will be hanged,
03:11the hand of the thief will be cut,
03:12this is the worldly order,
03:15the crime that is committed, will be punished for the crime,
03:17the crime that is small, will be caught according to that,
03:19the crime that is big, will be caught according to that.
03:23Allah has said in the Quran,
03:24the meaning of which is,
03:25if Allah starts to catch you on your sins,
03:28then no one on the earth will be saved alive,
03:35but there is justice and grace in its system.
03:38So, as I said, tonight,
03:40I am telling you my situation,
03:42I don't know how many of you will agree or not,
03:45that tonight, I find myself in a situation of intense fear and intense hope.
03:57So, now let's come to the element of hope,
04:01so what is that?
04:03It has been said about the government that,
04:05Bashir has also come, Nazir has also come,
04:08Allah has said, now listen to the mercy of Allah,
04:11Allah's wrath, punishment,
04:13we all listen to it, we will continue to listen to it,
04:14listen to the mercy,
04:15so that the heart can be at peace with a sinner like me.
04:19It has been said, if Allah's mercy is divided into 100 parts,
04:21again, I have oversimplified it to make it clear,

05:19with whom,
05:20the amount of love,
05:21compassion,
05:22mercy,

05:26Allah has kept with Him.

05:30it is very encouraging,

05:37not on the basis of my actions,
05:38but on the basis of His mercy,
05:39I can build hope,
05:40and they say,
05:41it is never too late,

05:45In the Holy Qur'an,

05:48meaning,
05:49Allah has made mercy obligatory on Himself,
05:52made it obligatory,
05:54repentance,
05:55and asking for forgiveness.

06:47What does it mean?

07:33so I won't go on the right path.
07:35The scholars of the Quran told me that this is the matter of repentance,
07:39Allah is Merciful, He has the power to forgive you.
07:43What will I say about Him?
07:45Otherwise, the philosophy is that
07:48it's not just a verbal commitment,
07:51but practical steps to be taken.
07:53Like the way you went on the wrong path
07:56and if you repeat this for 5 crore years
07:59saying that I went wrong, that's not enough.
08:00Brother, you have to go on the right path.
08:03Astaghfar is the aspect of covering up.
08:08The Arab women used to wear a cap under their burqa and that was called Ghaffara.
08:14Ghaffara.
08:15Why? Because that cap covers the head.
08:19Astaghfar means that the sin is done,
08:23the result has to be revealed.
08:26Allah covers up the bad effects due to His mercy.
08:32Meaning, He forgives.
08:36So, it happens that sometimes a person feels that the situation has gotten so bad
08:43that now there is a feeling of hopelessness.
08:46Is there any hope or not? Is there a way back or not?
08:49Is there a way to be forgiven or not?
08:52This also happens.
08:53I have seen so many examples in my life,
08:56you must have seen,
08:58that a person is so hopeless that he embraces death in this state.
09:01The time of his life ends in a state of hopelessness.
09:04He says that the situation has gotten so bad,
09:06I have committed so many sins that now there is no hope.
09:09But what did the Lord say?
09:11Tonight, the situation is between fear and hope.
09:15So, in this story, there is both fear and hope.
09:19Call it the story of repentance.
09:22The Lord said,
09:23No matter how many sins there are,
09:28Allah does not close the door of repentance.
09:33A story is narrated like this.
09:36There was a murderer.
09:38For him, it was a trivial matter to kill.
09:43As time went by, the number of dead increased.
09:46Now he reached his last days.
09:48Fear of God prevailed.
09:51I will die tomorrow.
09:53How will I face God?
09:55He counted.
09:57He had killed 99.
10:00Someone said,
10:02You have not died yet.
10:04You are still alive.
10:05Take advantage of the situation.
10:06Repent.
10:07The effect of repentance went to such a person.
10:12You can call him a Mufti of the city.
10:14Or to such a scholar.
10:16He kept his matter in front of him.
10:18He said,
10:19After killing 99,
10:21When he had a conversation with him,
10:23It is not a joke.
10:25If a person kills 99 birds,
10:28You will say,
10:29He is such a cruel man.
10:31It was said there,
10:32After killing 99,
10:34You want your repentance to be accepted.
10:36It will not work.
10:38How can it work?
10:40For him, it was a trivial matter to kill.
10:43He listened to the scholar.
10:45Then anger prevailed.
10:47He killed him too.
10:49It was 100.

10:53Now he is disappointed.
10:55He turned back.
10:57Someone told him,
10:58There is a village far away.
10:59There is a pious man of God.

11:02Maybe he will show you the way to repentance.
11:05Under the burden of sins,
11:09He bowed his head in remorse.
11:11With tears in his eyes,
11:13He went to that village.
11:15Maybe he will show you the way to repentance.
11:21Allah has his own secrets.
11:24He has his own way.
11:26Now you understand,
11:28He has done the deed.
11:29He has taken the journey.
11:30Now he has done half of the journey.
11:32Or he has decided some part of the journey.
11:34Death has come.
11:35Chapter closed.
11:37To explain this,
11:39How Allah is looking for excuses.

11:45To punish or to save from punishment?

12:59Then why is this a debate?
13:01He has killed 100 people.

13:37His distance from that place was more.
13:39Where he had to go for repentance.
13:41Or to meet this person.
13:43His distance from that place was less.

13:49The land of sins for him.
13:51He has moved away from there.
13:53And where he was going with the intention of repentance.
13:55His distance from there was close.
13:57His deeds should be forgiven.
13:59He is looking for an excuse.
14:03This is why the government has said.
14:05If someone repents with a true heart.
14:07This is strange.
14:09If someone repents with a true heart.
14:11This is a very encouraging thing.
14:15If someone repents with a true heart.
14:17His sins should be equal to the waves of the sea.
14:23His sins should fill the earth and the sky.
14:25His sins should fill the earth and the sky.
14:29Even then, if someone repents with a true heart.
14:31He can be forgiven.
14:39Some sins are due to the intensity of emotions.
14:43They are due to khilwat.
14:45Allah covers it.

14:55That a person has no other way.
14:57Except to purify himself from sins.
