00:00All right, now I think that Kellen Moore is going to make the Saints better, Vinny, but
00:05you know, they have so many cap issues and talent issues. I just wonder from this perspective, was
00:12this like a situation, Vinny, where Kellen Moore looked at it like, hey, there's only a certain
00:16amount of these jobs and I got to take one because they were the last team to get an NFL coach? I
00:21mean, look, I'm not going to speculate beyond what I think, but I can tell you what I think,
00:25Vinny. I think the Saints probably had another coach in mind before they hired Kellen Moore.
00:29What do you think about this move? Yeah, I mean, they waited for the best candidate that was still
00:34available in the playoffs. I mean, Kellen Moore's ready at this point. He's 36. I mean, in previous
00:39cycles, he's been rumored to take a head coaching job, but he was just too young. Here, I think this
00:44was his kind of breakthrough year in terms of being a key guy on a winning team that won the
00:50Super Bowl and Saquon Barkley and all that success. So they had to jump on at least, you know, he's a
00:56bright mind that's going to keep things going schematically well for the Saints. Now, unfortunately,
01:01economically is where the Saints struggle. Their salary cap situation is absolute hell. They've got
01:06to figure out what they're going to do with all their veterans, Derek Carr, Alvin Kamara, Cameron
01:10Jordan, Demario Davis. I mean, this team has become long of the tooth. They've kind of been overdue
01:15addressing some of these contracts and older players. So it's a tough situation. I don't think
01:21the Saints have a quick path to playing well anytime soon. So they're going to have to be
01:26patient in New Orleans with him, and Moore's going to be patient with Mickey Loomis and the rest of
01:30that front office to kind of clean house there and get the players that he needs to be successful and win.
