Police say that at least 36 people, two critically, were injured after a car ploughed into a trade union demonstration.

00:09Bavarian Minister President Markus Söder, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and the Mayor of Munich,
00:15along with members of the Verdi Union that was attacked on Thursday, left flowers at the memorial.
00:2136 people were injured.
00:24The attack comes a week before Germans head to the polls.
00:27German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is vowing faster deportations, although the perpetrator was living and working in Germany legally.
00:35The perpetrator has confessed, according to the senior state prosecutor at a press conference.
00:41The police suspect an Islamist motivation.
00:45Managing Director at Verdi Munich, Claudia Weber, said she was at the demonstration but did not witness the attack.
