President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan urged the international community to unite under the principles of peace, stability and collaboration, amid current geopolitical conditions and its ensuing impacts on the global economy, energy and food security and resource scarcity, to pave the way for long-term sustainable economic and social development at the Leaders Meeting of the Major Economies Forum on Energy and Climate (MEF).

01:17These claims are constantly increasing and will have a great impact on the global economy, life, and environmental diversity.
01:30Therefore, in the United Arab Emirates, and in our policy to protect the environment and achieve sustainable development,
01:41we have invested $50 billion in clean energy projects in more than 40 countries around the world.
01:52We plan to invest more than $50 billion in more projects in the coming decade, including hydrogen and ammonia.
02:06In accordance with the Paris Agreement and in response to the leaders of the Glasgow Conference,
02:16the United Arab Emirates will carry out its national commitments in the field of climate work according to the agreed timeline.
02:33The United Arab Emirates has been an active partner in its commitment to the international community in climate work.
02:42We look forward to welcoming the world to the COP28 regional conference in 2023, God willing,
02:55to realize my work in addressing climate change claims through our efforts,
