00:00Francesco many many congratulations you've led your team to victory just how

00:03good does that feel yeah amazing amazing I can finally relax the last couple of

00:09hours have been tense after finishing my game but yeah it's been great all week

00:14you know super happy for the guys like I said all week it's been very very easy

00:20you know leading them and being a captain for them I think we found some

00:25some really good pairings and just had a great week to start the year and

00:30obviously I can only wish them all the best for the rest of the season what

00:34pleased you most about this performance many many things like I said Mary many

00:40pairings seem to gel really really well which was great made my job a lot easier

00:46because I didn't have to tinker and change too much and just just spending

00:50time with some of the guys you know the younger guys that maybe I didn't know as

00:53well it's been it's been great fun how valuable do you think for the players

00:58here the ones that go on to play the Ryder Cup has this experience been

01:02invaluable really you know especially for the younger guys but even for us you

01:06know to play match play just get the juices going early this early in the

01:12year and it's a it's a great event we really enjoyed you know the DP water has

01:17done a great job at setting it up hopefully obviously the crowds at home

01:22have enjoyed it as well I think we played some some really good golf all

01:26in all so hopefully we can do it again next year the year after there is a huge

01:32championship to play next week you are gonna celebrate this I yeah yeah

01:36celebrate appropriately for sure you maybe want to be Ryder Cup captain

01:40yourself one day how values this experience been for you if that would be

01:43the case a rehearsal Luke Donald was telling us earlier that this is huge for

01:47him I can only imagine the distress they must be to be a captain in the in

01:52the Ryder Cup environment but yeah obviously you know I love the event and

01:57I don't know it would be amazing and incredible it's something to be honest

02:01that I haven't even dreamed about but obviously I love I love to do it but to

02:09be honest I love to to play in a couple more before that I was gonna say you've

02:13had a fantastic week personally this week unbeaten three and a half points

02:16out of four your game really seems to be turning the major goal must be to

02:19make that Ryder Cup team in your home country and your brother as a vice

02:22captain how big a goal is that for you yeah obviously you know it's it's there

02:26I need to it's a great motivation for me I think I need to be careful just to you

02:31know it's a long way away there's a lot of golf to be played in between and a

02:36lot of goals intermediate goals to get there so just you know focus on my game

02:43like you said it's definitely much better than it's been so hopefully I can

02:47play some good golf and been wrong being in Rome would be absolutely incredible

02:53many many congratulations on your team's performance this week and brilliant
