00:24had stopped getting film roles. And she also talks about the fact that she had no godfather
00:28in the industry. She didn't have an uncle who would make the next movie for her if she had
00:32a string of flops. Now, this is significant because Priyanka's interview exposes the toxic
00:39culture that exists in Bollywood, the way that women actors in particular are treated,
00:44as well as the whole nepotism debate that has been on for some years now. It's very rare for
00:49a successful mainstream actor like Priyanka Chopra to come out and speak out about these things in
00:54such an open and blunt way. And hopefully, this will give Bollywood an opportunity to
00:59take stock of where it's at and how it can change things.
