Indira Satheesh, an expat Indian who lives in Dubai, does not let a day go by without completing her fitness routine. That included her 50th birthday on May 15, on which she scaled up a portion of the world’s highest mountain from Everest Base Camp (ECB), nestled at 5,364 metres above sea level in Nepal.

00:16Celebrating my 50th birthday on Everest Base Camp was an amazing experience.
00:20During our 20th wedding anniversary, we climbed Kilimanjaro.
00:26Last year we hiked Mount Batur, Bali.
00:30Besides from my weekly hike in the UAE, I work out for at least 2 hours and I do an
00:39hour or two stepmaster to cover more than 3000 steps.
00:43And recently I started to learn classical dance.
00:47So I would like to say that age is just a number.
00:53So do your best on your daily basis and that will take you to places.
