00:00It's a good point, I think we didn't play amazing today, but I thought the team battle went through, it all took over as a team and yeah, they're a good side, they're at the top of the table, behind the top, so in hindsight it's a good point, we need another point if we can get to take each game as it is and keep going as a team.
00:18You said you felt like you've almost gone 12 rounds, they're a very strong physical side aren't they with them, so a very different game than we've been used to in recent weeks as it brings its own challenges, but the players really had their own out there didn't they?
00:31Yeah, I think you've got to stand up to the occasion, I think if we let them bully us then we'd probably lose the game, I think we all had our brand in the business as well and we had to do that for 90 minutes, so I think everyone can pat themselves on the back, we all tried and we all gave it our all and we came up with a point.
00:47Yeah, it's obviously clear what the common goal here is, it's to stay up and this week if you consider obviously the Tuesday match and today, that's a very big step in the right direction isn't it, obviously four points with a chance to make that seven potentially on Tuesday night as well, so the feeling in the dressing room must be a good one.
01:03Yeah, definitely positive, we're always positive no matter the result, we know that what we've got in the changing room, we believe in ourselves and believe in the Gaffer and the Gaffer believes in us and we just need everyone to buy into it and yeah I'm sure we'll be fine, we've got another two games next week and we've got to take each game as it comes.
01:21Yeah, there seems to have been a real turning point after the Christmas period where the lads have got a real sense of belief in them and obviously we're starting to pick up some really good results, what is it in particular that you've put that down to, is there anything or is it just the case that everybody's finally gelled together now?
01:35Yeah, I think I'd say since Christmas we've really got closer as a group, I think we know, obviously the transfer window is closed now but we know what we've got and we're all sticking together, we know what we can do as a team and I think in training every day everyone's working hard, we can see the levels so I think we all believe that we can stay up and we will stay up, so yeah it's just taking each game by game and focusing on ourselves more than the other teams.
02:01Yeah, I think this is actually the first time we've spoken to you since you've joined the club, have you been fatherless? Obviously you joined a little bit before the January window as a free agent but have you been fatherless so far?
02:09Yeah, I've been really enjoying my time, I've settled in quite well, honestly it took me a while to get up to speed and I'd say I'm nearing up there now, I've been playing a lot of games back-to-back so basically I'm feeling good and the boys have welcomed me in so nicely so yeah I'm happy it took me and hopefully get the job done at the coming end of the season.
02:27What was the initial challenge for you just getting up to match fitness? Was it over a year since you'd played when you joined the club or close to a year since you'd played 90 minutes?
02:37Yeah, so before I came here the last time I played 90 minutes was probably last year January, so yeah just like you said building up, first time I came in I had to wait four to six weeks before I could touch the pitch so I was working hard trying to get back to fit so I can help the team out as much as possible and that's what I'm able to do and I pray that I stay and continue to stay fit.
02:59Yeah and obviously a striker by trade but as we've had to see with a lot of players out there you've sort of had to move into some deeper roles as well, is that something you're relishing and I suppose at the end of the day what matters for you is just featuring in as many games as possible isn't it?
03:12Yeah exactly, anywhere the gaffer puts me I'm going to play it and try my best but I'm used to the ten position, I've played there quite a bit so I'm happy to play wherever, I'll give it my 100% every game so yeah.
03:26Obviously today you're coming up against the highest scorers in the league, how much of a challenge was that and also how pleased are you with the point and obviously to have restricted them to just the one goal?
03:39Yeah definitely happy with the point, against a good team, good side in the league, I don't think we focus too much on the other teams, I think the main thing we've got to focus on is us and how we play and how we're going to win the game, we tend not to focus too much on the other teams so as long as we believe in ourselves we'll be okay.
03:56Yeah and obviously you conceded that equaliser, you showed great resilience as a team, how impressed were you by that and is that the footprint you want to have for the rest of the season?
04:06Yeah for sure because a few games we conceded quick after we scored which is not good so today we waited a bit but they conceded after we scored and then we stuck together and we held it out for the rest of the game so it's a good improvement, good stepping stones and hopefully we carry it on.
04:26And just a word on the goal, obviously real quality from Will Swann?
04:30Yeah amazing goal to be fair, as soon as it came off his boot I wasn't too sure and then I see it flying top corner so I'm happy for him, he's been playing well out of position as well but he's been doing so well for the team and he's doing so much so happy for him.
04:43And what's it been like to work under Rob Elliott, what influences has he had on you as a player?
04:47Yeah he shows so much belief in me and the team and I think it helps us individually going out there knowing what he wants us to do and if we stick to that then we'll be fine this year for sure.
05:00Yeah I was going to say obviously you're confident with the players you have and the kind of team spirit you're building that you can obviously get away from the relegation zone?
05:07Yeah for sure we've just got to take it game by game, point by point and by May 3rd I think we'll see where we are but I think we'll be okay.
05:17Thank you very much.
