00:00Hi everyone, this is Dhanusha with you once again from the Dubai Airshow and this is the
00:13second day of the airshow which has been actually as action-packed as day one.
00:18The day's activities began with Egypt Air placing an order for 10 A350s, 900s with Airbus
00:25which is their second deal from the event.
00:28And that was followed by Kazakh airline SCAT which placed an order for 7 737-8 airplanes
00:34from Boeing and as you can see they seem to be continuing their winning streak.
00:40But things don't stop there, Dubai carrier FlyDubai signed an agreement for 222 LEAP
00:451B engines for the airplane's fleet of Boeing 737-8s and 9s, the order for which was placed
00:53yesterday.
00:54Regional carrier Omanair took delivery of its first 737-800 Boeing converted freighter
01:01and FlyDubai also announced plans to open a 56 million dollar full flight simulator
01:07training facility.
01:09One of the last deals for the day was Ethiopian Airlines, they concluded a deal to buy 31
01:14firm Boeing airplanes in 36 options.
01:17But the most interesting thing about today has been our chat with Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed
01:22Al Maktoum, chairman and chief executive of Emirates airline and group, who has confirmed
01:28the first class seating configuration will remain very important for the carrier's future.
