00:23You look fantastic, celebrating 50 years of comedy. I mean, unbelievable.
00:29You know, I was just talking to Judd, and he told me that you were on the show,
00:33and you were living together, and then you just disappeared, and you never came back for your clothes.
00:38This is true, and he had my ID from my... I left my wallet there. A lot of stuff I just left.
00:44I think I went out to New York with a toothbrush and maybe a shirt or two,
00:49and I didn't know, because I didn't know it was going to work, and then I stuck it out here.
00:55Well, you left SNL, but then you became one of the greatest comedians of all time.

01:03So, how do you think that experience kind of prepped you to get out there?
01:07Oh, my goodness. This place, for all of us, taught us how to write, how to help put your, you know,
01:14camera work together, how to help be part of the creative vibe.
01:20It's the best college on the planet for comedy and making movies and getting that stuff done right.
01:27You auditioned with... Was it Rock, a part of your audition?
01:29Me, Rock, and three other awesome comedians, and for some reason, they hired Rock immediately,
01:36and then I got hired as a writer, and me and Rock kind of grew up together in comedy,
01:40so we were both very excited.
01:42When you got the writing gig, how did you transition? Did you say to Loren, like,
01:46Put me in, coach. Come on.
01:47A little bit. He kind of said, you'll work your way in there, so I would write little parts for myself,
01:53that kind of stuff, and then the other castmates would be like, I guess.
01:57I could have said that, but I'd say, yeah, let me get this one.
02:02What can we expect from tonight? I know that you are a part of this.
02:05Can you just give us a little tease here?
02:07I mean, I saw a couple of things being blocked today. It's ridiculous.
02:14A lot of great... Everybody's... So many people get to be funny tonight.

02:23Do you have a favorite sketch of all time?
02:26I always love Aykroyd's Fred Garvin.
02:29That used to... Me and my friends used to do that around the house.
