00:00Britain's Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has been busy fending off rumours of a coup within
00:09his own party.
00:10The story goes that he could be replaced as soon as the 2nd May local elections in Britain
00:15where the Tories are expected to do particularly badly.
00:19With general elections due later this year, many in the Conservative Party believe that
00:23going under Rishi Sunak's leadership would mean literally hitting an iceberg, a reference
00:28to the Titanic, of course.
00:30But there are others within the Conservative Party who believe that this would be a disaster.
00:35And I tend to agree.
00:36How does it look for the Conservative Party to replace yet another Prime Minister?
00:41If indeed Sunak was replaced, he would be the fourth leader to be changed in the span
00:45of one parliament session.
00:48That makes the Tories look even more divided and chaotic than they already have been.
00:52And frankly, given all the problems that they face, changing Rishi Sunak at this point isn't
00:58really going to help.
00:59If you look at a number of opinion polls and surveys that have been carried out over the
01:03last few months, including the most recent ones, Labour have taken a very decisive lead
01:09over the Conservative Party.
01:11The writing is on the wall and it looks like the Tories are heading for a big defeat, with
01:16or without Rishi Sunak.
