00:00Hi everyone, welcome to the first section of our garden
00:29which is the zone 1, we have here the largest butterfly that we can see here in the garden
00:35which we call the owl butterfly or the Caligo butterfly that comes from Costa Rica.
00:43We can also see here the butterflies from Thailand, some are from Thailand and we have
00:49four sections here in total.
00:51So we divided the butterflies each zone which further we can see later.
00:57We can also see here the largest moth in the world which is the Atacos moth that comes
01:02from the Philippines.
01:04So we have here a total of 10,000 to 15,000 butterflies alive inside the garden.
01:19So I can explain to you the life cycle of the butterfly.
01:22So first the female butterfly will lay eggs on the leaves so it takes three to five days
01:27for the eggs to become a baby caterpillar.
01:31So from a tiny caterpillar they need to eat a lot of leaves to become bigger and to become
01:35stronger in preparation for their next stage.
01:39So in this second stage, the caterpillar, this is the longest stage of the butterfly
01:44life cycle.
01:45So it takes for them three to five weeks to become the chrysalis or the third stage of
01:52the butterfly life cycle.
01:54So in this chrysalis stage, this is the resting stage of the butterfly that their body parts
02:00and their beautiful color develop.
02:03So after two to three weeks it will become a beautiful adult butterfly or the Imago butterfly.
02:17So now we can see here some of the butterflies feeding themselves.
02:22So most of the butterflies or all of the butterflies, they like to eat any type of fruits but here
02:27in the garden we gave them orange and bananas.
02:30So yes, butterflies love rotten fruits so that's why we feed them aside from the nectars
02:37from the flowers.
02:44So we are now here in the last section which we have here our highlight butterfly that
02:50we call the blue morpho butterfly.
02:53So this is one of our highlight butterfly here because as we have searched, this is
02:58one of at least the top two most beautiful butterfly in the world.
03:03And this type of butterfly also are very active butterfly that's why we separate them from
03:08the other butterflies, the small ones and the largest one that we have, the owl butterfly
03:13and we separate the morpho butterfly from this section.
03:29Hey, I'm Nicolette, that's my mom, we're from Germany and we come here to the butterfly
03:33garden and it's so cool, we love it here and yeah, there's so many butterflies here.
