00:00My dad worked at McDonnell Douglas at that time, and I was working on the Delta rocket,
00:05and mom would take me to every junior event here in Southern California,
00:08whether it's a nine holes out in Riverside and San Bernardino, and she'd drive out there
00:14and keep score and walk every hole, and how many putts I hit, how many fairways I hit,
00:19how many greens I hit, and she tracked it all.
00:23And gosh, all those days led us to the point where, and she was hard on me about school,
00:33about getting good grades and doing well in school, and to be honest,
00:38if I didn't get any homework done, I wasn't allowed to go play.
00:43Not with my friends, but just go play in general, so it was important that I got good grades,
00:51and school came first before any sport I was playing.
00:56She meant everything to me, and losing her has been a very hard
01:02and difficult process to go through.
