00:00Donald Trump, but before he was president again, being convicted was such, or actually
00:06sorry, being indicted.
00:07Well, he was convicted.
00:08He was convicted.
00:09But even before the conviction, there was the indictment in Georgia where that mugshot
00:13was taken.
00:14And it was a huge milestone because we'd never seen a former president or president take
00:20a mugshot.
00:21Well, then we saw the official portrait that was taken with Donald Trump.
00:26When he did get into the White House.
00:27And the portrait.
00:28And he used the same pose.
00:29Right.
00:30He used that same pose.
00:31It's the same pose.
00:32It worked before.
00:33But that wasn't good.
00:34That wasn't good enough.
00:35That wasn't on the nose.
00:37No.
00:38So you would think maybe it's something that he wouldn't celebrate.
00:42But this is Donald Trump and his presidency is always going to be just a little different.
00:47So he is not running from it.
00:49In fact, we saw this yesterday during his meeting with the prime minister of India.
00:53You got a shot of just outside the Oval Office and in that hallway, he's got the New York
00:58Post front page with his mugshot there framed just as you walk into the office.
01:04You know why he likes it so much?
01:06Because he believed and he may be right.
01:08He got back there.
01:09That helped him get elected.
01:10Absolutely.
01:11And not just that.
01:12I think to a lot of people, it probably represents, like you said, Charles, first time a president
01:15has been arrested, taken a mugshot.
01:18But I think to Trump and to his supporters, I think it represents what they see as, you
01:22know, lawfare that was exacted against them that they overcome.
01:26And like you said, Harvey, I think it did ultimately help Donald Trump get elected.
01:31I mean, he might still have won the election without it, but I do think it actually did
01:35help him.
01:36So I think that's why they're they're choosing to remember that moment.
01:39It's not the convictions or the felonies.
01:42It's the lawfare.
01:43And it's in their minds, their political opponents trying to take him out using the court system
01:48and him prevailing.
