00:00Uh, let's talk about ludwig big win. Of course yesterday. He let of course he we all were on him the first time
00:06They were at tory pines a few weeks ago
00:09Get sick at the end then he has to get out of pebble because he wasn't feeling well
00:14But we thought he was great for the course. He was great for the course smiley
00:19He was and if you happen to just watch
00:22Uh the full broadcast on sunday kind of came on air with with what vig making par the six hole the par five
00:28A hole that you just expect to make a birdie on
00:31It feels like if you make par on sunday on that hole, you're not going to win the tournament
00:35And he was coming off two straight misses for pars on the prior holes at four and five
00:40so basically it feels like he just made three straight bogeys and really
00:44He wasn't a part of the storyline hardly at all because he was just kind of hanging around right around seven eight under
00:51And all of a sudden we see maverick mcneely just pole vaulting up the leaderboard and he's nine under through like 13 holes
00:58Which is just insane at tory pines
01:00So it just kind of felt like it was going to be a maverick mcneely week
01:04Towards the end. He doesn't birdie 18 and then all of a sudden
01:08Ludwig is uh makes birdie at 13 and then he makes a long putt at 15 and you're like, holy crap
01:14Uh is loberg gonna win this golf tournament? Like he's got a legit chance
01:19um, it was just a weird one right because there's so many guys and storylines that you're trying to tell with
01:24You know first time potential winners and denny mccarthy and patrick rogers in that final group
01:30You got a surging scotty shuffler that everybody is on pins and needles to see if like, all right is scotty back
01:36so we've just kind of like just kind of creeped his way through that sunday leaderboard and um,
01:43Not surprising as a as we we all know how talented this player is. He's uh,
01:48So long so straight and how he hits it off the tee
01:51Incredible, uh, you know iron player wedge player his metal game's incredible
01:56He's a like I said earlier on the uh, our smiley show last night

02:53Well, it's been a little bit of the ball striking to start the year. That's been a little bit off
02:56I would say that he's kind of been dealing with a little bit of a left miss
03:00off the tee and at times with iron shots that typically
03:03You know move left or right for him or just kind of hanging there if anything turning the other way
03:07So kind of dealing with a a bit of a not able to eliminate the left side of the golf course quite as much as he
03:13Normally does
03:14So you'd like to see him drive a little better, which he started to uh do that on sunday
03:19Saturday didn't drive as well
03:21But the I would say the one promising thing is that how poorly he typically has putted on the west coast the last couple years
03:27To see him putt, you know
03:29I'd say fairly well at pebble and tory and then phoenix obviously, uh had a decent week with the putting putting stroke
03:36I think that's a positive as you head to bermuda greens and bent greens that we saw in place
03:40So putt so well on uh throughout the year and how much cleaner it looks inside of eight to ten feet
03:47So I think if anything as we lead up to the first major of the year, uh, let's not sound the alarm bells
03:54It's different conditions. It's cold. It's uh spinnier greens poana
03:59So with that i'm not like

04:02I think he still looks really good
04:04But I think our expectations for him are just so stupid right like the you look at the numbers every week for him
