00:14The data comes amid warnings from businesses over job losses and higher prices, after the
00:18government moved to increase national insurance contributions and announced another rise in
00:23the minimum wage in last October's budget.
00:26A survey by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development on Monday revealed a third
00:30of businesses expect their employment costs to increase, and so they plan to cut jobs
00:36through redundancies or by hiring fewer workers.
