00:00What we know so far is that this Bombardier CRJ-900 aircraft behind me, operated by Endeavour
00:15Airlines, was carrying 80 people.
00:18It was arriving at Pearson Airport from Minneapolis when it impacted the runway during landing.
00:28Following this initial impact, parts of the aircraft separated and a fire ensued.
00:35As you can see here, the fuselage came to rest slightly off the right side of the runway,
00:40upside down, facing the other direction.
00:51Other duties we'll be conducting here on site are examining the wreckage, examining the
00:56runway.
00:58We've already removed the cockpit voice recorder, the flight data recorder, and we've sent them
01:03to our lab for further analysis.
01:07At this point, it's far too early to say what the cause of this accident might be.
01:11However, we will share more information once we're able to.
